At the beginning of the 2023-2024 season, the Royal Opera of Wallonia-Liège and the IMEP announced the launch of their Opera Studio, a masterclass in lyrical art led by soprano Patrizia Ciofi. This partnership aims to train students and integrate them into the Opera’s productions, enriching their experience and facilitating their professional immersion: the participation of these young artists in the creation of the participatory show for young audiences, Patiente mon coeur, in May 2024, marks the first step. Expected to develop over the coming season, this specific collaboration between the Opera and the IMEP is part of a positive dynamic, aimed at showcasing the emerging talents of the Wallonia-Brussels Federation.
