Musicians at the Opéra Royal de Wallonie-Liège are usually seen in the orchestra pit, fully engaged in any onstage productions. Under the baton of conductors, they represent the orchestra as a whole, magnifying the stage vocals, but there are many musicians who also enjoy expressing their musical passion by playing chamber music.

The series of concerts planned for the season finale are thus an opportunity to listen to these musicians in a more intimate context where they can show off their individual excellence.

Designed by the musicians themselves, the various programmes in this series will showcase many of the soloists in our orchestra with repertoires ranging from Mozart to Stravinsky, from string quartets to all brass and percussion instruments, to the combination of harp and song or a cello trio…
