CHAMBER MUSIC
INTIMATE
SPOTLIGHT

Experience the musical excellence of the Orchestre and Chœur de l’Opéra Royal de Wallonie in the Musica da Camera series.

Although usually out of sight in the orchestra pit, the musicians of the Orchestre de l’Opéra Royal de Wallonie-Liège play an active role in each of our productions. Besides being part of the orchestral ensemble which accompanies and supports the singers under the baton of the conductor, many of them also excel in the field of chamber music. The members of our choir, meanwhile, are able to showcase their talent on stage.

The Musica da Camera concert series, which was launched last season, is back on the programme, giving them the opportunity to demonstrate their skills in a more intimate setting.

There are nine Sunday concerts this season, all in the prestigious Foyer Grétry. The programmes for these chamber music concerts will feature various composers and original combinations of instruments and have been compiled by the musicians and singers.
