To convey this story of initiation by André Borbé, Lionel Polis imagined dynamic and expressive music, presenting a both burlesque and poetic musical universe to young spectators.

“I’m going to tell you the truth: in the land of the monsters, they are scared of humans, because, whilst nobody would disagree that humans have a charming appearance, that they are cute and attractive, they often hide a cruel and cynical nature and are capable of the utmost nastiness. So, when it comes down to it, who are the real monsters?”
