Dear Friends,
The Opera: open and unifying, a place of hospitality and of sharing, pulsates with its beating heart.
The 2018-2019 season follows the same philosophy as the seasons prior to it: alongside the great titles in the repertoire, it will also feature some lesser-known works.
All in all, nine operas from Verdi, Cimarosa, Puccini, Rossini, Gounod, Donizetti, Mozart and Bellini will be appearing on the programme.
Among them there are five new productions, one exclusive in Belgium and many international collaborations with partners such as the Opéra Comique de Paris, Frankfurt Opera, the Teatro Regio in Turin, the Operas of Lausanne, Muscat, Bilbao and Tel-Aviv.
Staying true to our policy of reaching out to younger generations, we will also be presenting three shows aimed at children from the age of three!
Our Principal Conductor Speranza Scappucci has already won over the hearts of audiences and critics alike. She returns for Aida and I Puritani, but also for the Summer Concert and Verdi’s monumental Messa da Requiem.
Don’t forget that shows are also available to view by streaming, on the radio and television. We are pleased with our partnerships with the music channel Mezzo, France Télévisions’ streaming platform Culturebox.fr, and even Musiq’3.
Thank you to our audiences who loyally and passionately display their acclaim.
